Henrieta Ribeiro got her MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, IL. She specializes in wide range of marital and family issues regarding parenting, communication, marital stress, and parent-child relationships. Henrieta is specially interested in working with women's issues including depression, anxiety, stress, loss, and interpersonal problems. She has run and participated in numerous women's, and parent support groups focusing on personal development and healthy interpersonal relationships.
Henrieta is also a trained Stephen Ministry leader and a facilitator of small groups. Her interest in creating healthy communities has led her to run Restorative Justice peacemaking circles in churches, schools and other communities. Her work in numerous church settings has allowed her to develop and lead retreats and educational seminars for church programs including Stephen Ministry, adult education classes, deacons, care teams, and women's ministry.
She is a member of St. Andrew Methodist Church in Carol Stream, IL where she lives with her husband and three daughters.
